Additionally, our acupuncturists are nationally board certified in both acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.

 


About the Founder & Owner of Think Acupuncture

James M. Shinol, MSOM, L.Ac.
Licensed Acupuncturist (NY&NJ)
Board Certified in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)

James M. Shinol holds a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College, Boulder Colorado. Prior to his education in East Asian Medicine, he obtained a bachelors degree in Pre-Med from Albright College in Reading PA. James is a Diplomat of Acupuncture, a Diplomat of Chinese Herbology, and a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He serves as the Vice President on the Executive Board of The Acupuncture Society of New York and is an instructor at several local colleges. He has extensive knowledge and experience in treating infertility (male and female), pain of all types, respiratory and digestive conditions, and much more. He works closely with many medical doctors and prides himself on blending the two medicines.

Ryder J. Champouillon, MSOM, L.Ac.

Ryder J. Champouillon is a licensed acupuncturist with a Master of Science Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Ryder started his training in both Asian theory and both external and internal martial arts in 1997. In 1999 Ryder studied in China at the Si Ping Teachers University- China Shao Lin Martial Arts Academy. Following his training in China he studied undergraduate studies at SUNY Brockport and SUNY Plattsburgh. His Graduate studies followed at the New York College of Health Professions. Ryder is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture (NCCAOM).
Ryder also incorporates all 4 pillars of East Asian Medicine, Chinese, Japanese and Korean medical techniques into his customized and individual treatments. An expert in meditation and exercise Ryder also offers counseling in mind body wellness as well as corrective care exercise and at home training regimens.


Alicia J. Palladino, MSOM, L.Ac.

Alicia J. Palladino is a license acupuncturist in New York State and is board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (NCCAOM). Alicia is also a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine(NCCAOM) and obtained her Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from New York College of Health Professions in Syosset. Previous to her studies of East Asian Medicine, Alicia obtained her Bachelor of Science from Manhattan College in Psychology and Pre-Medicine. She believes in an integrated Western and Eastern Medicine approach to healing and treats a wide range of ailments.


Scott Gralla, MSOM, L.Ac.

Scott is a New York State licensed acupuncturist holding a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from the New York College of Health Professions.  In addition, Scott also holds a bachelors in Psychology from New York University.  He has worked as a personal trainer for many years, has studied an array of martial arts, and holds rank in White Tiger Kempo Karate.  Scott treats a large diverse list of conditions with a specialization in Sports Medicine.
